Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity – Detroit, MichiganDo you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!An established group of cardiologists in the Metro Detroit area is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their collaborative and growing team. This is a full-time, employed position offering comprehensive support and benefits within a large health system serving multiple facilities across the city.Key Responsibilities Provide full-spectrum cardiothoracic surgical care to adult patients across multiple hospital campuses.Maintain a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, including 1–2 days weekly in outpatient clinic.Perform surgeries and procedures with OR time allocated based on case load and ER consults.Participate in shared weekend and holiday call coverage with a team of two cardiothoracic surgeons, including trauma coverage.Conduct inpatient rounding, including ICU responsibilities, supported by two dedicated CT surgical physician assistants.Qualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic SurgeryActive Michigan medical license or willingness to obtainOrganization Information:Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K).Paid time off and CME allowance.Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.Administrative and operational support, including billing, coding, collections, and marketing.Marketing, website development, and administrative services managed by hospital system staff.Convenient access to all facilities, with complimentary parking.Lifestyle Information:Strong community spiritAffordable cost of livingThriving arts and culture sceneOpportunities for waterfront recreation: The Detroit Riverfront provides parks, pathways, and spaces for walking, biking, fishing, and community event2 Hours from Grand Rapids2 Hours from Cleveland, OH4 Hours from Chicago, ILAccess to an international airportRecruitWell's Core Values:Open communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
