Job Description
We are currently seeking vibrant, confident, self-motivated, hard-working individuals who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in event marketing and online advertising. If this sounds like you, keep reading!
Our Internship Program:
The marketing internship provides a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a Chicago based startup and add value through executing on various marketing and business development activities. The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to experience many facets of the business however will focus on generating new business. Specifically the ideal candidate will work with us to build brand awareness through event marketing, online / print advertising, and other marketing activities.
One of the primary responsibilities of the role will involve planning and executing small marketing events on a regular basis. As a brand ambassador of the company, your primary goal will be to increase product awareness and increasing the number of customers.
Being a small company, you will contribute meaningfully to the growth of the company. We value every member of our team and encourage our employees to bring their own interests and skills to the table whether they pertain to events, marketing, design, social media, or any other relevant areas.
Commitment & Compensation:
Schedule is flexible, however must be able to commit a minimum of 20 - 40 hours per week. Compensation will be $10 per hour, however this may increase based on performance.
While the role is an intern, we anticipate that this position will last beyond the summer, and prefer candidates who are interested in long term employment.
