To thrive as a Website Development Intern, you generally need foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with web design principles, often supported by coursework or relevant certifications. Experience using development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Git, and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is typically required. As a Website Development Intern, you'll typically work on real-world projects such as building or updating company websites, creating landing pages, or integrating web applications. You'll gain hands-on experience with technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as React or Angular. Interns often collaborate with designers, content creators, and senior developers, which helps you understand how web projects move from concept to launch. This role offers a valuable opportunity to build your portfolio, learn best coding practices, and get feedback from experienced professionals.
