Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Growth Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of national security and cutting-edge technology. You will support the capture and business development teams in navigating the complex landscape of Space Systems, Cyber Operations, and Directed Energy programs.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can leverage data within our Salesforce CRM to help identify market trends, track contract opportunities, and streamline our business development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM Management: Support the Growth team by maintaining and auditing data within Salesforce. This includes tracking active pursuits, updating account records, and generating reports on pipeline health.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research on upcoming Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, focusing on advancements in Directed Energy (DE) weapon systems, satellite resilience, and defensive cyber capabilities.
  • Capture Support: Assist in the preparation of "Gate Reviews" and proposal development by gathering competitive intelligence and analyzing historical contract award data.
  • Strategic Communications: Help draft briefings and marketing materials for key industry events and customer engagements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate or improve internal growth workflows to increase the efficiency of our business development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Political Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is highly preferred. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required.
  • Interest Areas: A demonstrated interest in the aerospace and defense industry, specifically regarding emerging technologies like High-Energy Lasers (HEL), orbital mechanics, or network security.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to synthesize complex data from sources like SAM.gov and GovWin into actionable insights.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Security: Must be a U.S. Citizen, as this position may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is:
