Their tasks often include designing layouts, selecting color schemes, optimizing images, and ensuring websites are user-friendly and visually appealing. Interns may also help with coding using HTML, CSS, and sometimes JavaScript, while learning industry best practices. This role provides hands-on experience and helps interns build a professional portfolio for a career in web design.

Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and website builders such as WordPress or Wix is typically expected. Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and effective communication skills help you collaborate with teams and respond to feedback. These competencies and qualities ensure you can contribute creatively and technically to projects while adapting to the fast-paced demands of web development.
