State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for full time, exempt and benefit eligible Multimedia Specialist- Website and Graphic Design for the State Tech Marketing Department. Apply today at https://statetechmo.edu/human-resources/
Required Qualifications: This position requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, however experience in a closely related field may be considered as a substitution.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of relevant multimedia/marketing experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress website content management system.
  • Basic working knowledge of website coding.
  • Keen eye for design and design principals.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of using a DSL cameras to take still photos.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates these abilities.
  • Ability to interpret data and use that to help with designs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Assist in the creation of signage on campus including but not limited to laser engraving, vinyl cutting and wrapping, large form printing.
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • This position also requires effective relationships with internal staff, partners, and a wide variety of diverse groups from industry, academia, government, and the community.
  • A proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • This position also requires the ability to effectively address multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies designed to promote the College's mission and brand positioning to include advocacy and quality control of the College's brand and trademarks, internally and externally at State Technical College of Missouri. He/she will be responsible for maintaining and updating the State Tech website, www.statetechmo.edu. This position will also assist in the production of various promotional materials as a graphic designer for the college and help with projects including, photography, running the State Tech sign shop and social media.
