DURATIONAL HOURLY POSITION

Position Summary

Watertown Public Schools is seeking two qualified Website Implementation Specialists to support the rollout of the district's new website platform, ParentSquare. One specialist will focus on elementary schools and the other on secondary schools; however, both will work collaboratively to ensure consistency, alignment, and a cohesive districtwide approach.

Under the direction of the Director of Instructional Technology, these individuals will play a key role in the development, organization, and implementation of website content. They will also assist in planning and delivering professional learning for staff and stakeholders.

This is a durational stipend position anticipated to begin over the summer and conclude in early fall.ย 

Qualifications

  • Experience with website management, content development, or digital communications required
  • Familiarity with content management systems; experience with ParentSquare or similar platforms preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across the district
  • Experience designing and/or delivering professional development or training preferred
  • Current teacher or administrator preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the implementation of the district's new website platform (ParentSquare) across all schools
  • Develop, organize, and maintain accurate and accessible website content aligned with district standards
  • Collaborate with school and district staff to gather, review, and update website materials
  • Ensure consistency, usability, and accessibility of content across all school websites
  • Identify training needs and plan professional learning opportunities for staff, administrators, and other stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and ongoing support to staff responsible for maintaining school-level web content
  • Monitor website functionality and coordinate with vendors or internal teams to resolve issues
  • Establish best practices and procedures for website content management

Terms of Employment

  • Two positions available
  • Position may entail a combination of remote work andย  travel between schools within the district
  • Hourly salary commensurate with experienceย
