Front-End Software Engineer – React / TypeScript

???? ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

A defense and advanced-technology organization is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to develop sophisticated web applications supporting simulation, modeling, optimization, and complex physical systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of software development, science, data visualization, and UI/UX.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript experience
• Strong React, HTML, and CSS skills
• Front-end web application development experience
• UI/UX or user-centered design experience
Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance – required

Highly Desirable:

• Java or Python
• Spring Boot or Redux
• WebGL / OpenGL
• Data visualization
• REST APIs
• Front-end testing frameworks
• Scientific, simulation, engineering, aerospace, or defense software experience

You’ll collaborate with Research Scientists and Software Engineers to create intuitive interfaces and visualizations for technically complex applications, contributing from concept and prototyping through testing and deployment.
