Job description

Digital Marketing Manager — Web Technologies, CRO & Site Development

Location: Denver, CO Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: CMO

About the Role

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who lives at the intersection of marketing and web technology. This isn't a traditional campaigns-and-content role — you'll own the performance of our ecosystem of digital traffic. You'll dig into analytics, run structured experiments, and work hands-on with our ecosystem of pages, affiliates, forms, and general UX to improve how visitors convert into customers.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable presenting a testing roadmap to Leadership. You understand site speed, UX friction, and front-end implementation well enough to scope changes accurately and collaborate closely with developers and designers.

What You'll Do:

· Own the conversion rate optimization (CRO) program end-to-end: build a testing roadmap, prioritize opportunities, and run A/B and multivariate tests across all properties

· Analyze user behavior using tools like GA4, VWO, heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel reports to identify friction points and opportunities

· Build, edit, and optimize landing pages and web pages using CMS/page-builder tools (e.g., Webflow) and working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS

· Partner with engineering and design to scope, spec, and QA website changes and experiments

· Monitor site performance metrics (page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile experience) and advocate for technical fixes that impact conversion

· Manage tagging, attribution and tracking implementation (GTM, pixel/event tracking) to ensure clean, trustworthy data

· Translate test results and analytics into clear recommendations and reporting for stakeholders

· Collaborate with SEO, paid media, and content teams to align page experience with acquisition strategy

· Stay current on CRO best practices, web performance standards, and emerging web technologies

Skills:

· Strong understanding of CRO methodology: hypothesis formation, statistical significance, test design

· Hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms, specifically VWO (required); familiarity with Optimizely or similar also a plus

· Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript — enough to build/edit pages and troubleshoot with developers

· Experience with CMS/page builders, specifically Webflow (required); familiarity with WordPress or HubSpot also a plus

· Proficient in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and heatmap/session-recording tools (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, etc.)

· Strong analytical skills — comfortable working in spreadsheets/SQL to validate results

· Excellent communication skills; able to present data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders

· Project management skills to run multiple concurrent experiments and web projects

Experience:

· 3–5+ years in digital marketing, growth marketing, or web optimization roles

· Proven track record running CRO programs with measurable lift in conversion metrics

· Experience working directly with web pages/CMS platforms, ideally Webflow

· Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, and analytics teams

· Bonus: experience with SEO fundamentals, e-commerce platforms, or personalization tools

· Bonus: experience in consumer lending or financial services

Nice to Have:

· Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Vue) for deeper collaboration with dev teams

· Experience with server-side or first-party tracking implementations

· Certifications in CRO, GA4, or relevant platforms
