Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep plant property, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition. The incumbent diagnoses problems and works in many varied and diversified capacities required in general maintenance, overhaul, and repair of plant equipment, processes and facilities.

Major Job Duties:
As a key member of Weber Metals your duties include but are not limited to:
• Demonstrate importance of the Weber Metals Safety Policy to the success of Weber Metals.
• Demonstrate importance of the Weber Metals Quality Policy to the success of Weber Metals.
• Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Environmental Policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Business Management System.
• Work in a team environment to meet target dates.

Maintenance Mechanic I Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interprets mechanical drawings, including Hydraulic and Electrical
• Utilizes conventional and precision measuring instruments
• Builds and/or modifies equipment in accordance to established specifications to meet specific project requirements
• Repairs and/or modifies existing and new products in accordance with established specifications and procedures.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
