Job Summary:

We are seeking candidates for the position of Web Developer 3. The position requires extensive knowledge of web development and implementation of websites specifically with experience using Word Press and Drupal. The web developer will develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces. The web developer will evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with multiple browsers and devices. Other duties include optimization of website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes. The website developer may also develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other in-house or vendor applications. The development will include an appropriate mix of web design's graphical, functional, and aesthetic components to guarantee maximum efficiency across all devices. The developer will be responsible for creating responsive site designs that enhance the user experience.Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:

Function as the IT subject matter expert for website creation and design

Provide an IT development and user support role for website development

Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks

Ensuring responsive design that adapts seamlessly to various screen sizes

Testing the website before deployment and debugging the website code

Maintaining the website and supporting the organization/client on website updates

Collaborating with designers to understand and execute their vision

Connecting the database and maintaining integrations

Analyzes customers' information needs, business problems and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions

Technical Competencies:

Builds, designs, and maintains assigned websites and software applications.
