Job description

Web Developer - Full Stack

TEKsystems is seeking a mid-level to senior-level Web Developer for one of our financial services clients in Honolulu, Hawaii. This individual will join a growing technology team responsible for developing, maintaining, and modernizing customer-facing web applications and supporting services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across the full application stack while helping drive future technology upgrades and web platform modernization initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and supporting services.
  • Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs that integrate with internal and third-party systems.
  • Translate business and user experience requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop and support database-driven applications utilizing SQL Server and relational databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, production incidents, and performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Support ongoing modernization efforts and future enhancements to web platforms and technology stacks.
  • Document application architecture, technical designs, and deployment processes.
  • Support software releases and occasionally assist with after-hours deployments or critical production support activities.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Experience developing and supporting web applications in a professional environment.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience, preferably SQL Server.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience using source control systems such as Git.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or collaborative software development environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
