General Description:

The Digital Content & Web Specialist is responsible for supporting the digital content and web-based needs of One Alliance North Americaโ€™s Marketing and Sales teams. This position manages content across multiple company websites and digital platforms, including the Company Store, and is responsible for ensuring digital content is accurate, consistent, accessible, mobile-responsive, and user-friendly. The person in this role is expected to have a strong understanding of website content management, digital accessibility, responsive design, usability, and quality assurance practices. This position works closely with Marketing and Sales, developers within the Companyโ€™s Systems department, and external vendors to coordinate website and digital-platform requirements, test functionality and content, troubleshoot issues, and ensure completed work meets established content, brand, accessibility, and functional standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage content across multiple company websites, microsites, and landing pages, including creating, uploading, formatting, updating, reviewing, and archiving content and digital assets.

Organize website navigation, page architecture, templates, images, documents, forms, links, and calls to action to create consistent, user-friendly experiences.

Apply ADA-related digital-accessibility practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, including alternative text, accessible headings and links, captions, readable formatting, color contrast, and support for keyboard and screen-reader use.

Maintain Company Store content, including product listings, descriptions, images, categories, banners, featured products, promotional information, and other approved updates.

Support Marketing and Sales applications and troubleshoot issues involving content-management systems, forms, email, webinars, presentations, digital assets, and related tools.

Translate Marketing and Sales needs into clear requirements for in-house Systems developers and external vendors; test completed work and confirm it meets content, brand, mobile, accessibility, and functional expectations.

Maintain publishing schedules, content inventories, platform documentation, development requests, and quality-assurance processes.

Perform other duties as required.

Education and / or Experience:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Web Development, Digital Media, Communications Technology, or a related field. Equivalent relevant education and professional experience may be considered.

At least four years of professional experience in website administration, web production, digital content management, digital-platform support, or a related field.

Experience managing content within a live content-management system and across multiple business websites.

Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, responsive design, website architecture, mobile testing, digital accessibility, usability, and quality assurance.

Experience supporting digital applications and collaborating with developers, technical teams, and outside vendors.

Strong written communication, organization, documentation, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and explain technical information to nontechnical colleagues.

General knowledge of the insurance industry, including its products, terminology, audiences, or distribution channels. Previous employment in insurance is not required.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, or regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external business partners/customers.
