Overview
Provide strategic product management leadership for Hussmann's e-commerce platforms and digital customer experience initiatives to drive profitable revenue growth, customer adoption, and operational efficiency. Lead the development and execution of digital product strategies that improve online customer engagement, conversion, self-service capabilities, and market penetration. Serve as the voice of the customer while partnering with Commercial, Marketing, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to deliver innovative digital solutions that create measurable business value. Measure and improve the effectiveness of digital product initiatives through customer adoption, revenue growth, conversion optimization, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency metrics aligned with Hussmann's Long Range Plan (LRP) and Business Plan (BP).
Responsibilities
Customer & Market Understanding
  • Assess digital commerce opportunities through customer research, Voice of Customer (VOC) programs, user feedback, usability testing, market trends, competitive benchmarking, and analytics. Monitor industry best practices and emerging technologies to identify opportunities that improve customer experience and accelerate online growth.

Digital Customer Experience Strategy
  • Develop strategies that improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and self-service adoption. Analyze customer journeys and identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve site usability, enhance product discovery, and increase conversion rates across digital channels.

Product Roadmap Management
  • Own and maintain the e-commerce product roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and new capabilities based on customer needs, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities. Balance customer requirements with organizational capabilities and available resources.

Digital Product Development
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the planning, development, testing, and deployment of digital capabilities including website functionality, search, merchandising, personalization, customer account features, integrations, and self-service tools. Ensure solutions deliver measurable business results and support overall commercial objectives.

Data & Performance Management
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators including revenue, conversion rates, customer engagement, search effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and self-service adoption. Utilize analytics and reporting to identify opportunities, quantify business impact, and support future investment decisions.

Digital Merchandising & Marketing Enablement
  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to optimize online merchandising, content strategy, promotions, search optimization, and product presentation. Ensure digital platforms are supported with effective content, training materials, launch plans, and customer-facing communications.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Commercial, IT, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and external partners to ensure alignment on digital priorities. Facilitate collaboration, communicate product strategy, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Commerce, or related field preferred

Experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in Product Management, Digital Commerce, Marketing, Business Strategy, or related disciplines
  • 3-5 years of experience leading digital product, e-commerce, customer experience, or technology initiatives
  • Experience managing product roadmaps and delivering customer-facing digital solutions

Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of B2B e-commerce platforms, digital customer journeys, and online merchandising principles (SAP Commerce Cloud preferred)
  • Experience with web analytics, customer behavior analysis, and performance measurement
  • Ability to translate customer needs and business objectives into product requirements and actionable roadmaps
