Job description

We're working with a well-established packaging & consumer goods distributor in the Phoenix area to find an experienced contract product photographer to support their seasonal shoot schedule.

This is flexible, project-based work — a great fit for a freelancer or someone with an existing full-time gig who has bandwidth for extra shoots.

What you'll shoot:

  • Catalog-style product photos for an internal ordering portal — clean, well-lit, color-corrected shots (think: gift boxes, shopping bags, packaging)
  • More polished "hero" product photography for the company's website and marketing materials — dramatic lighting, styled backgrounds, creative input welcome

What we're looking for:

  • Solid product photography experience (this is not an entry-level role)
  • Your own camera and studio setup (lighting, backdrops) — you'll pick up product samples from the office and shoot at your own location
  • Strong post-processing skills: white balance, exposure, color correction, and retouching
  • Reliable transportation to pick up/drop off product in the Phoenix area
  • Comfortable with a seasonal workload — busiest in fall (Sept–Oct) and spring (Feb–Apr), lighter in winter and summer; roughly 40–80 hours/month depending on the season

Details:

  • Contract position (not contract-to-hire)
  • Location: Phoenix, AZ area (in-person pickup/drop-off required)
  • Start: ASAP
