Job Description

We are looking to fill a position for WebSphere Admin in Tigard OR.

Qualifications

1. Must have a valued IBM partnership relationship.

2. Experience in upgrading WebSphere, JDK and STRUTS

3. Experience in scripting languages using PowerShell, CMD, VB

Additional Information

Selected person should be able to complete the following tasks:


1. Upgrade the Java Development Kit (JDK) to version 1.8 and modify the jClarety framework to use upgraded JDK.

2. Upgrade the current versions of IBM WebSphere application server software to use WebSphere 8.5.5 Fix pack 11.

3. Upgrade the UI framework, Struts 1 to Struts 2.3, and provide the development team with a cookbook/documentation along with 5 sample screens upgraded to Struts 2.3.

4. Analyze and provide recommendation to resolve jClarety issues to enable MS SQL server update to 2014 without using 2008 compatibility mode.
