Description
Purpose
The Software Engineer is a builder and problem solver responsible for the development and continuous improvement of enterprise business platforms and cross-system integrations. This role works cross-functionally with business partners across Marketing, Sales, Services, Support, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Logistics to solve high-impact business problems through practical, scalable solutions. Responsibilities include automation, AI-assisted delivery, and end-to-end integration outcomes across third-party systems; this role is not a dedicated administrator or developer for any single platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and deploy software solutions from initial requirements through production support
  • Analyze system requirements, identify root problems, prioritize tasks, and recommend practical technical approaches
  • Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and code review activities
  • Identify repeatable manual work and implement automation solutions to improve speed, reliability, and quality
  • Lead and deliver integrations with ERP/B2B and other third-party systems (e.g., JD Edwards E1, REST/SOAP APIs), ensuring reliable end-to-end data flow
  • Contribute to data and reporting solutions (including SQL, SSIS, and SSRS) as part of broader platform delivery
  • Design and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and regression test plans
  • Recommend system changes with clear consideration for feasibility, maintainability, customer needs, and business value
  • Model company core values

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience of.NET development experience (C#), including building and testing web, API, and desktop applications using frameworks such as Blazor, Razor Pages, or MVC
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering work
  • Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar tooling
  • Experience with SQL-based development including stored procedures, SSIS, and SSRS; experience with enterprise application integrations and API design
  • Self-motivated team player with strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills; able to manage multiple shifting priorities with sound independent judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating AI/ML services (e.g., Azure AI, OpenAI APIs) into .NET applications, , including AI-driven data transformation or ETL optimization
  • Experience with Azure Power Apps, Power Automate, or broader Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience supporting B2B/EDI integrations, mappings, and transaction workflows
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization/BI tools
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery practices
