The Campus Store is seeking a Web Development Intern who supports the Campus Store's SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) website within NetSuite by assisting with front-end development, site maintenance, and user experience improvements. This position works within an enterprise ecommerce platform to help implement site updates, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing optimization of the online store. The role provides hands-on experience with structured web development processes in a live retail environment.

Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and updating the SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) website
Support front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within the SCA framework
Implement and test site enhancements, landing pages, and promotional updates
Troubleshoot and resolve basic website bugs, layout issues, and performance concerns
Support site configuration and content updates within NetSuite
Collaborate with ecommerce and marketing teams to execute website changes and campaigns
Perform quality assurance (QA) testing across devices and browsers prior to deployment
Document development changes, updates, and basic workflows
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current University of Utah student.
Preferences
Enrollment in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, or a related field
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
Familiarity with responsive design principles
Exposure to content management systems or ecommerce platforms
Basic understanding of version control (e.g., Git)
Interest in ecommerce systems and digital retail operations
Ability to learn new systems and follow structured development standards
