Job description

SERC Reliability Corp seeks a SharePoint Developer in Charlotte, NC.
Duties: Monitor web application performance by ensuring its security, stability, and availability for use to optimize the security, privacy, and integrity of company data. Provide software architecture and infrastructure support. Perform maintenance and patching of on-premise systems web applications and platforms. Participate and/or lead cloud migration projects and evaluation of cloud platforms and workloads. Collaborate with various internal and external partners to find issues and identify and implement the best solutions for the organization by analyzing technical requirements. Evaluate code to ensure proper structure, validity, compliance with industry standards, as well as compatibility with various browsers, devices, and operating systems. Design, test, and develop website and system integrations to meet business needs. Develop best practices for content management and publication activities. Participate in and lead application and data integration projects involving internal and/or external stakeholders. Review and resolve support tickets within SLA. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as directed.
Part-time Telecommuting Permitted.
Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or in a closely related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Information Systems, Computer Programming, Software Engineering, or Web Developer-related occupation. Requires 2 years of experience with the following: 1) SharePoint and .Net to build web apps, utilize web APIs or Windows Services; 2) Programming languages: C++, R, Python, Visual Basic for Applications, JavaScript, HTML/CSS; 3) Web development, Data Integration; 4) Application patching and vulnerability remediation; and 5) Developer tools: SQL Studio, JDeveloper, and Visual Studio.
