Job description

DOM DoIT requires an experienced Drupal Web Developer to join the DX team This position will be responsible for day-to-day design, development, and maintenance of a large suite of citizen facing websites which provide critical services to the citizens of Iowa. These websites are essential in supporting State Level initiatives. This position will work closely with the DX and Qualtrics teams, as well as business stakeholders and leadership to realize strategic goals and leverage digital assets. In addition to web development and Qualtrics forms, this position will also advance innovative and priority initiatives including accessibility remediation, search improvement, readability, customer experience analytics, and chatbot technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Partnering with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements, review and approval of all DX site updates

• Ensuring all website features and updates are thoroughly tested and function as expected, across all user-types, devices, browsers and environments

• Providing Drupal application support via Acquia

• Planning and execution of Drupal upgrades

• Migration and/or archival of website content, web forms and data

• Developing custom themes for Drupal sites, as necessary

• Administering user access and configuring user roles and permissions

• Testing and executing core, module and security updates

• Support the Qualtrics Customer Experience platform

• Design and draft surveys, dashboards, ticketing systems, and reporting

• Collaborate with product owners, service owners, and other partners to design and implement surveys using tools like Qualtrics

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design portals, platforms, surveys, training needs, and data collection/analysis approaches

• Establishing customer experience analytics

• Training users and content editors

• Integrating and implementing third-party, plug in technologies

• Remediate accessibility and readability requirements to meet WCAG 2.1 AA regulations.
