Senior Business Analyst & Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior QA Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will apply your expertise to drive complex operational analyses, lead medium to large-scale projects, and support critical decision-making across the business. You will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior analysts, helping to grow their skills and capabilities.

This is a key leadership role that requires a blend of strong technical skills, deep business acumen, and excellent interpersonal abilities. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project goals are met and solutions align with business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for medium to large-scale initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Conduct complex operational and statistical analyses to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, providing clear, data-driven insights.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including product owners and business users, effectively managing their expectations and ensuring continuous communication.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, guide decision-making, and manage change.
  • Act as the first line of defense for quality assurance, testing web applications and reporting bugs in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure all issues are identified and resolved.
  • Directly mentor and coach junior analysts, helping them develop their skills in analysis, project management, and stakeholder relations.
  • Show a strong interest in learning and developing expertise in our IT Nuclear products and applications, including the Nuclear Work Management Application suites and NAMS (Nuclear Asset Management System).

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience. (Preferred)
  • Proven expertise in web applications and experience with testing frameworks like QMetry.
  • A strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM processes, including sprint planning, unit and integration testing, and story estimation.
  • Proficiency in regression testing, end-to-end testing, and using JIRA for ticket management and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
