Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Web and Windows Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of both Web and Windows applications intended to provide user friendly and efficient solutions for internal stakeholders and clients for our ever evolving and expanding business.
ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages the full life cycle of a project from concept to implementation, including the design, user interface design, database design and .NET development of applications.ย 
  • Works with internal stakeholders and/or clients on gathering specifications and requirements of proposed projects.
  • Reviews, documents and updates work as assigned, using an online project management tool (Synergy).
  • Performs unit testing of applications and assists users with UAT and QA requirements of assigned applications.
  • Cross-trains with development team members on in-house applications to develop a better understanding of current applications in use.
  • Completes code peer reviews/audits, as assigned to satisfy company and regulatory compliance needs for projects.
  • Performs maintenance of existing sites and applications as needed.
  • Completes yearly compliance and security training as assigned throughout the year.
  • Works closely with cross functional groups, including Marketing, Sales, UX Engineer/Designer and other technical groups, as needed in a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Ability to work onsite/in-office and in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with C# programming language.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with SQL Server.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with MVC 5 / Entity Framework / WCF / Webservices.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working with and creating APIs.
  • Strong understanding and application of HTML5 / CSS / jQuery / Knockout /AJAX.
  • Experience with RPA tools, such as MS power automation a plus.
  • Experience with Azure Cognitive services a plus.
  • Experience with MuleSoft a plus.
  • Able to conceive and implement new development strategies under tight deadlines.
  • Able to utilize and apply new Web tools and technologies as appropriate.
  • Able to multitask and showcase creativity, ingenuity and technical skills to complete several high priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Coachability: Being receptive to feedback, willing to learn, embracing continuous improvement and is receptive and responsive to change

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
