Job Summary:
DataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US. They are seeking a Web Applications Programmer to design, develop, and maintain custom applications while providing Tier 3 support and analyzing requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops, and maintains custom applications and 3rd party product integrations.
• Provides Tier 3 support for custom applications.
• Gathers and analyzes requirements.
• Programs all or selected components of custom applications.
• Documents components and applications.
• Has experience with a variety of more difficult tools and languages, preferably Vue.js.
• Provide weekly status reports to their supervisor in the Curriculum Development department.
• Works on moderately complex, to complex projects.
• Works on multiple projects as a team member and sometimes as a project leader.
• May coach more junior technical staff.
• Develops and manages effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced.
• Develops, tests, documents, and implements high quality applications on time that perform according to specifications and requirements documents.
• Analyzes performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies.
• Develops and adheres to development standards that allow for the maintainability of code in a manner that supports team development.
• Participates in the modification of software applications or architecture to resolve issues and plan for future growth.
• Participates in code reviews and meetings, as necessary.
• Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects.
• Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
• 3-5 years’ experience developing in JavaScript based application frameworks like Vue.js, Node.js or Electron
• Advanced experience with client side technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, MVVM/MVC frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, and others
• Experience with Git Version Control Systems.
Preferred:
• Microsoft Azure technology experience, preferred.
• TypeScript experience, preferred.
