Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field 

  • Minimum of three years related experience

  • Demonstrated programming skills

  • Experience with specific software applications, i.e., Visual Basic, C++, MS Suite, CAD/CAM

  • Demonstrated systems analysis skills 

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with database connectivity in SQL

  • Experience with ERP systems, IFS preferred

  • Strong complex problem-solving skills and creative ability

  • Familiarity with PLM Systems, Siemens Teamcenter Preferred (BMIDE configuration, customization, integration).

  • Understanding of PLM data models, workflows, and lifecycle management.

  • Experience with integrating PLM with ERP, MES, and CAD systems.

  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

  • Advanced proficiency in Java, C#, or Python (aligned with your tech stack).

  • Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and microservices architecture.

  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts in an easily understood manner both in writing and verbally; clear and concise verbal and written communications

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;

Physical Demands / Working Conditions:

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer

  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally

  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 35 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently

  • Travel by air or car occasionally

  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards 

Position Summary: 

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Design and develop software systems, following specifications using appropriate tools
  2. Maintain and/or modify existing software 
  3. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  4. Perform custom programming to support business needs 
  5. Consult with other departments on project status, proposals and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance 
  6. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met
  7. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
  8. Other duties as assigned

Salary offered will depend upon the education, skills and experience the candidate brings to the position.  The range is $70k to $100k in base.
