The Enterprise Applications (EA) Business Data Analytics and Integration team develops and supports data-driven solutions that enable business insights, application integration, and digital transformation across Micron. The team partners with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable platforms, modern data architectures, and intelligent applications that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise-grade applications and data solutions. This role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, experience with modern application architectures, and the ability to leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, to deliver business value.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data-driven applications, APIs, and integration solutions using modern software engineering practices.
  • Build and support applications utilizing relational, NoSQL, and graph databases while ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using platforms such as Azure and AWS, implementing containerization and distributed builds.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and implement Generative AI, Agent, and AI-Enabled applications applying concepts such as RAG and Agentic AI solutions.
  • Participate in software lifecycle activities including version control, code reviews, deployment automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
  • Experience programming in one or more object-oriented languages such as C# or Python.
  • Experience working with SQL and at least one database technology including relational, NoSQL, or graph databases.
  • Experience developing or supporting web applications, REST APIs, cloud-based applications, or Generative AI solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agents, or Agentic AI solutions.
  • Experience with JavaScript, React, and modern web frontend technologies.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, cloud application deployment, Docker, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with API authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, SQL Server, ETL/data pipeline development, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
