Job description

Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Front End Web Developer with a Secret security clearance to support EHS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Interpret requirements and make recommendations regarding system design, solutions, and procedures via various sources such as business analysts.
  • Design and create SharePoint sites and pages as well as recommend improvements to existing sites and pages.
  • Work closely with business analysts, designers, subject matter experts, team leads, and our federal customer to understand functional requirements and make recommendations regarding system design, solutions, and procedures.
  • Create cost estimates for projects or enhancements.
  • Conduct impact analysis for changes and produce detailed specifications and write software code.
  • Create solutions or implement specific capabilities.
  • Conduct unit tests and document findings to support formal testing in a controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
  • Adhere to program configuration change control standards and provide input into training manuals for users.
  • Review existing code and configuration to determine how to implement a solution and then make enhancements.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Visual Studio 2013 or higher experience
  • SQL experience, Understanding of table structures, SQL statements, and stored procedures
  • SQL, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, jQuery, and SharePoint 0365 experience
  • Windows 2012 and IIS 8.0
  • SharePoint 0365 development experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint 0365 and the Software Development Lifecycle or Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
  • SharePoint 0365 development experience, including InfoPath forms.
  • Web design/development (e.g., HTML / CSS / jQuery / JavaScript) experience. Experience with HTML, CSS, XSLT to manipulate SharePoint 0365 sites and deliver a user-friendly experience to the client.
  • Experience using InfoPath and SharePoint 0365 to develop workflows and data view web parts.
  • Experience with all aspects of SharePoint 0365, including roles, permissions and hierarchy, taxonomy, infrastructure design, metadata and search, SharePoint 0365 services, SharePoint 0365 Designer, and InfoPath.
  • Requires advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to work directly with the end users to understand their requirements, demonstrate the concepts, and assist with user support.
  • Also need to be able to review existing code and configuration to determine how to fix a solution and then make enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of work experience OR 5+ years of work experience without a Bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Secret security clearance
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be eligible for a DoD clearance.
  • Active DoD clearance preferred.
