Job Description

As a Sr. HR Intern within the HR Service Department, you will have the opportunity to live our HR Service Vision:
We Care, We Understand, We Resolve.

HR Service is the main point of contact for our associates across the US and Canada. We are available to help our customers navigate the sometimes complex world of HR topics like Compensation, Benefits, Training & Development, HR Technical Systems, and Payroll.

We work in partnership with our Bosch HR Business Partners and HR Process Owners to help support in the deployment of HR initiatives. We educate our managers and associates on HR processes and HR technical tools, and help to trouble shoot when things get tricky. Every day we communicate with our customers, and do real-time problem solving. If we can't address their need in our team, we partner with other HR teams for additional expertise, all with the goal of getting the need resolved.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree related to Human Resources
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.  This is a one-year internship position.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and a demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics
  • Positive customer relations and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in navigating web based systems and technology platforms, including Microsoft Office suite 
  • Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, quick learner, and ability to adapt to change
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Preferred:

  • Major / Discipline: Industrial Engineering, Process/Quality Mgmt, Industrial/Org Psych, Organizational behavior, Project Mgmt, Human Resources, Business, or related
  • Class standing (i.e. Freshman): Senior, Masters level
