Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud solutions, is seeking a Cloud Architect to join their team. As a Cloud Architect, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, innovative thinking, and collaborative skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Appleton, WI

What's the Job?
  • Provide technical leadership for hybrid, multi-cloud environments spanning on-premises private cloud and public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Translate reference architectures into detailed designs and implementation plans for infrastructure, networking, and identity management.
  • Engineer scalable, high-availability platforms aligned with business objectives and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Bicep, integrating validation and security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead incident response efforts, perform post-incident reviews, and implement preventive measures to enhance operational reliability.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience focusing on cloud architecture and engineering.
