Software/Web Developer III
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance
Cherokee Preting LLC is seeking a mission-focused Network Security Engineer III to support and contribute to our government customer's success in Springfield, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits:
$115,000-$118,500
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Software/Web Developer III Responsibilities Include:
  • Supports software and web development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration
  • Analyzes and studies customer requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies
  • Designs, create, tests and maintains software and web based applications and content solutions
  • Designs and develops visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation
  • Develops and maintains software and web development technical documentation to assist with software and web application maintenance and upgrades
  • Provides software process management and configuration management throughout the software/web development lifecycle
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Software/Web Developer III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in related field (Related work experience considered instead of degree)
  • Minimum of six (6) years related technical experience in Web Design or Software and experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a highly diverse environment
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management
  • Proficient in MS Office suite - Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Understanding and experience with the DoW Architecture Framework and other key DoW network architecture and strategic planning instructions.
  • Ability to work individually, actively participate on integrated teams, and lead a task, project or team.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
