I am working with a large vacation corporation in the Philadelphia area. They are looking for a Senior Designer to work onsite 20 hours a week on an ongoing basis. This could potentially be converted to a full time position for the right candidate.
Job Description
This individual will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to concept and produce websites and wide ranging designs for digital and print communications. The ideal person for this role is well versed in web and graphic design, and is enthusiastic about experimentation, collaboration and learning new technologies. He or she is also a proactive communicator who thrives in a small team environment and is professional and capable under tight deadlines and changing project priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to a range of visual design work with a focus on web design and digital communications (including digital advertising and social media)
• Design, develop, and maintain websites and microsites as well as create HTML email blast templates, promotional landing pages, banners, additional custom (non-templated) pages or micro-sites, and other graphic projects to support all marketing needs
• Create site maps, wire frames and other visualizations and present ideas to the Marketing & Communications Manager
• Create thought-provoking concepts and designs, engagement strategies, and operationalized PowerPoint presentations for external sales presentations, as well as internal organization usage
• Stay up to date on digital design and UX techniques
• Serve as a liaison with developers, print vendors, and other stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly
• Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to understand project scope and objectives and contribute to budget and timeline estimates
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to share new perspectives and ideas
• Upload and maintain image/video/archive catalog and organize all materials on external hard drive backup
