Job description

Team Red Dog is hiring a Senior Web Content Author (Contentful CMS) for our client, a global digital experience innovator and Fortune 50 technology leader. In this fully remote role, you will build, QA, and publish high-visibility web experiences that support major product launches using Contentful, component-based design systems, and modern web publishing workflows. You'll partner closely with design, front-end engineering, content operations, and program management to deliver polished, scalable digital experiences while ensuring quality, SEO, accessibility, and localization standards are met. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced web production professional who thrives in a fast-paced, launch-driven environment and enjoys owning the entire content authoring and publishing lifecycle.
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
  1. Extensive experience authoring and publishing content in Contentful or another enterprise headless CMS, including page creation, asset management, publishing workflows, and content updates.
  2. Strong experience building web pages using reusable templates, modular components, and design systems such as Storybook while maintaining consistency across large-scale websites.
  3. Deep expertise performing web content QA, including link validation, asset verification, cross-browser and rendering checks, and pre-publication quality reviews.
  4. Experience supporting localization workflows, multi-market web publishing, SEO best practices, and collaborating across design, development, and content operations teams.

Opportunity Overview:
Join a team responsible for delivering high-impact web experiences that reach millions of users around the world. You'll play a critical role in bringing product launches and marketing campaigns to life by authoring, validating, and publishing web content within a modern, component-based Contentful environment. If you enjoy combining technical web production expertise with exceptional attention to detail, this role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible digital experiences using today's leading content technologies.
How you will make an impact:
• Build, edit, QA, and publish web pages within the Contentful CMS using approved templates, reusable components, and digital assets.
• Assemble pages from modular design system components while following established content models and publishing workflows.
• Upload and map assets, implement copy updates, and create Rest-of-World (ROW) pages for global audiences.
• Coordinate localization workflows, including localization file creation, handoff, and reintegration.
• Perform comprehensive quality assurance before publication, including link validation, asset verification, rendering reviews, and content accuracy.
• Incorporate UAT feedback, copy updates, SEO recommendations, and accessibility requirements prior to launch.
• Collaborate closely with content operations, front-end developers, designers, QA partners, and program managers to support sprint releases and product launches.
• Help maintain a scalable, component-driven web publishing model that improves consistency and reduces custom page development.
The expertise you bring:
• Approximately 10+ years of professional web content authoring and publishing experience in enterprise CMS environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Contentful; experience with other headless CMS platforms is also valuable.
• Strong experience working within component-based design systems and reusable page templates, with Storybook experience considered a plus.
• Proven expertise performing web content QA and managing content through the full build-to-publish lifecycle.
• Experience supporting localization processes and publishing content for global markets.
• Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
• General understanding of APIs, content modeling, and modern web publishing concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while consistently meeting launch deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
What makes a candidate highly successful in this role:
Top performers combine extensive enterprise web production experience with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to independently own content from initial page build through final publication. They are comfortable working within modern component-driven design systems, collaborate effectively across design and engineering teams, proactively identify quality issues before launch, and consistently deliver polished, accurate web experiences on schedule. Experience supporting high-volume product launches, global localization efforts, and fast-moving marketing organizations is highly valued.
