The Media Specialist supports Precision Drilling's visual storytelling by managing digital media assets and creating high-quality video, photography, and multimedia content. This role works closely with the Marketing & Communications team to deliver brand-aligned content, maintain organized media libraries, and support marketing, recruiting, internal communications, and corporate initiatives.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Manage and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including organizing, tagging, archiving, and preserving digital media assets
  • Edit and enhance photography, video, and multimedia content to ensure brand consistency and high visual quality
  • Produce and edit engaging content for marketing, recruiting, internal communications, social media, and corporate initiatives
  • Support photography and videography projects through equipment operation, production coordination, and file management
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications stakeholders to optimize media workflows, improve content performance, and deliver compelling visual storytelling

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Diploma or degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Production, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in digital media, content creation, or multimedia production
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom); experience with After Effects is an asset
  • Proven ability to create and optimize content for social media, web, presentations, and internal communication channels
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing digital asset libraries, DAM systems, metadata, and production workflows
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills with a keen eye for visual storytelling, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving technologies and priorities
