PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe University System of Maryland (USM) Office is seeking a Web Content Specialist to support the development and launch of the USM's new website. The Specialist will assist with the development of the site by creating new pages and migrating existing ones to the new WordPress content management system. The position will involve content creation, editing, and publishing. The Specialist will work closely with both the Office of Information Technology and the Office of Communications and Marketing to build a site that is user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with brand messaging.
This is a part-time contractual position, 10-15 hours per week. The initial contract will run through December 31, 2026, with the potential for renewal for an additional 6 months. Must be available for up to 4 hours per week in office (Adelphi or Baltimore) as needed.
Current undergraduate or graduate students are encouraged to apply.
