ProSidian Consulting has an opportunity for a [9241-0/15-A : Web Applications Programmer] located in South Florida - Miami | POSTING TYPE: THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION

Seeking a Web Applications Programmer with experience in software design and web programming using .Net 4.0 / .Net 4.5 to support a local client in South Florida.  Demonstrated understanding of software development methodologies, programming concepts, design patterns, and database design required to assist our client's Internal Services Department (ISD) in their ongoing and changing E-Procurement software and modules. 

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Demonstrated understanding of software development methodologies, programming concepts, design patterns, and database design.
Solid understanding of modern development methods such as OOD (Object Oriented Design).
Strong Asp.Net 4.0/4.5, C#.Net 4.0/4.5, VB.Net 4.0/4.5 programming skills. 
Entity-Framework (Code First using existing database, POCO's only), LINQ and Lambda expressions.
Solid experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
Knockout.JS
Experience with jQuery
Solid understanding of AJAX and JSON.
Participate in database design, writing stored procedures, writing user defined functions using SQL 2008 R2
Generating reports using SSRS, Crystal Reports
ETL operations using SSIS.
Experience using Telerik controls.
Unit testing using nUnit for TDD development
Desired Skills:
Six months or more experience with MVC 3.0/4.0
Understanding of View Models, Repository pattern, Unit of Work, and Dependency Injection using ninject.
Generating web-services using WEB-API
Experience with e-Procurement solutions

i. 5+ years of experience in programming
ii. 6+ monts of experience with MCV 3.0/4.0
iii. Must be able to work independently
iv. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
v. Must be familiar working with various programming languages, development methodologies, and design patterns.

The following education and experience is required to accomplish project tasks:
Five (5) to Seven (7) years of programming skills
Ability to document using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken for presentations
Excellent team player

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to lead in a team environment.  He/she must be able to work effectively at all levels of the organization, be results oriented, have strong analytical and decision-making abilities, and a creative problem solver.
