As a Data Engineering and Web Applications Team Manager, you will lead a diverse portfolio spanning enterprise applications, web platforms, and data engineering solutions. You will shape and execute technology strategy while guiding multiple engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that directly support business growth and client outcomes. This role requires balancing long-term strategic vision with operational execution—driving modernization efforts, advancing cloud adoption, and improving engineering efficiency through automation and best practices.

You will partner closely with business leaders, product teams, architecture, data, security, and infrastructure functions to align technology investments with enterprise priorities. Success in this role comes from your ability to translate complex business needs into sustainable engineering solutions, improve data quality and governance, and ensure reliable delivery of critical platforms. You will also foster a high-performing, collaborative environment by mentoring leaders, developing talent, and promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, AI enablement, and modernization of core data and application platforms.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, analytics engineering, or related technology disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams and managing complex enterprise programs
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise application development and engineering organizations
  • Experience managing complex portfolios across application development, platform engineering, and operational support
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, modern software engineering practices, and DevOps (including CI/CD and API development)
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as Informatica, IDMC, BigQuery, Java, Python, GCP, or similar platforms
  • Proven experience driving modernization, transformation, and large-scale change initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and executive-level presentation skills
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and strategic partnerships

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI/ML enablement platforms, model lifecycle management, or enterprise AI frameworks
  • Experience with tools such as Vertex AI, Dataiku, or MLOps capabilities
  • Experience enabling AI-assisted analytics or conversational data solutions
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience leading enterprise cloud transformation initiatives
