Job description

This person will work closely with Marketing Specialists, Graphic Designers and VP of Marketing, to design and produce:
  • POS literature
  • Photography and Image editing, product and application images
  • Technical diagrams
  • Tradeshow graphics/signage
  • Vehicle Wraps
  • Product/ packaging design
  • Web concepts and design
  • Video/animation
  • Multimedia presentations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, TASKS & SKILLS:
  • Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Suite programs, namely Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Additional programs: After Effects, Sketchup, Solidworks, XD
  • Assist and help train entering graphic designers with regards to best practices, software and company styles
  • Proof and edit collateral for design, adherence to RLWS graphic standards, understandability and image quality
  • Write up quote requests and PO requests, compare quotes and quality of vendors to choose the appropriate vendor for the project
  • Review new vendors
  • Consult with appropriate company entities or research how a product works or concepts to produce understandable and relevant graphic materials
  • Photographs of products for print collateral and web
  • Onsite photo shoots
  • Continual training/growth on relevant computer programs and design trends
  • Able to mentor and train other designers with regards to best practices, software and company styles
  • Exceptional sense of design and attention to details
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities those projects and manage deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive to learn new programs, new processes
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Skills, Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising and 5 years related experience.
  • Experience with current design software.
  • InDesign, Photoshop, Illustration experience required
  • Broad knowledge of electronic media and print production.
