Job Summary:
Damco Solutions is seeking a Web Application Developer for a project with the Department of Public Health. The primary purpose of this position is to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application using .NET, while maintaining the existing application functions that collect data from various systems.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข serve as the web application developer on a project to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application for the Department of Public Health
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Developer experience with Angular JS, Breeze, C#, Microsoft IIS, .NET, and SQL
โ€ข Experience using an agile or scrum SDLC in a developer role
โ€ข Knowledge of general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications
โ€ข Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
โ€ข Experience using GitHub or Bitbucket
โ€ข Experience using Jira
โ€ข Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into specific software requirements.
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in application development; or an Associate degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application development; or High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of experience in application development showing increasing levels of responsibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
