Job description

Position Description: Exciting growth opportunity. Local Candidates Only- The position will be responsible for application development (C#/.NET, SQL Server, Web services) to support the growth of the company. Assist management in meeting and / or exceeding our customer expectations with business information solutions and data management. Specific Job Responsibilities:

1. Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features

2. Collaborate with clients, Customer Service and other departments to set specifications for new applications

3. Design creative prototypes according to specifications

4. Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines

5. Perform unit and integration testing before launch

6. Conduct functional and non-functional testing

7. Troubleshoot and debug applications

8. Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features

9. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code

10. Work with production and vendors to support new customer implementations

11. Use SQL, .NET, and other technologies to develop software according to specifications

12. Develop and maintain applications for data driven production machines

REQUIRED BACKGROUND:

1. Minimum of BS degree in Computer Science or related field.

2. Minimum of 2 years analysis / design experience.

3. Three to five years of software development experience.

4. Expertise using C#.NET, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, APIs (SOAP, Web API), and XML/Html.
