Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Planning, design and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
  • Follow industry standard best practices for web application architecture practices, to ensure construction of flexible and scalable system.

 

Operational Management

  • Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts as required to sustain systems documentation.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, for modified and new systems.

Position Requirements

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
  • Proficient in: ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, Visual Studio 2010
  • Proven experience in WCF and SOAP-based web services, JSON, REST, MS SQL including stored procedures
  • Experience in Windows Services, multi-threaded applications and sockets programming is a plus
  • Experience in SQL SSRP and SSIS, is a plus
  • Experience in web architecture, including cloud-hosted and cloud-fronted integrated applications is a plus.
  • Experience in Kentico CMS is a plus.
  • 5-7+ years of programmer/analyst experience with a large or medium sized manufacturing company.
