Job description

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC is seeking a skilled Application Developer to join our internal IT team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications that support our business operations. This position is ideal for a motivated fullstack Java developer who enjoys working across the application lifecycle—from architecture and coding to troubleshooting and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fullstack Java application development, including frontend, backend, and database components
  • Design, code, debug, test, and document software applications in accordance with established standard
  • Provide timely troubleshooting, rootcause analysis, and technical support for production systems
    Collaborate with internal and external customers, system users, and Corporate IT to gather requirements and refine solutions
  • Apply strong analytical and conceptual thinking to solve complex technical challenges
  • Demonstrate professionalism, ethical decision-making, and a commitment to high-quality results

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in:
    • Java/Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and JavaScript
    • PostgreSQL or other relational database (i.e. Oracle)
    • Git source control
    • Web application design and development
    • HTML, CSS, JSON, UX fundamentals
    • XML
