Application Developer II
POSITION OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team to elevate our engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level web applications leveraging the Microsoft .NET Framework. This role will work collaboratively with Business Analysts and other cross-functional team members to identify system enhancements, implement solutions, and resolve application issues. Additionally, the developer will ensure data integrity of application and supporting system and alignment with business requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for proactive web developers of junior to senior levels to deepen their technical expertise, showcase their leadership skills by leading an operational team and contribute to mid-to-large scale projects such as our ERP migration in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Collaborate with Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to review system requirements, analyze use cases, and provide technical input solutions.
2. Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate web applications using .NET Framework technologies (C#, ASP.NET).
3. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards; conduct code reviews and maintain version control using Git at Azure DevOps.
4. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas (MS SQL Server).
5. Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting efforts across various environments.
6. Identify system gaps, system improvements, and tooling needs to enhance the scalability and ensure system quality.
7. Assist in creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation and system specifications for easy reference by other engineers.
8. Actively participate and contribute to core meetings and team discussions.
9. Mentor and support team members to help broaden and develop technical skills.
10. Review, process and complete work requisition according to SOPs
11. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to support stable business operations. Identify root causes whether related to bugs, system design, data, or processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Related Experience Required
Minimum Qualifications: 2-years of professional experience in software development, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 3 to 4 years of professional experience in software development, or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Experience with at least one web application development framework (e.g., .NET, PHP, Django, Spring, Node.js, etc.).
2. Solid foundation in MS SQL Server and SQL statement; experience with other relational databases is acceptable.
3. Experience with source control tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.).
4. Hands-on experience with .NET Framework using C#.
5. Familiarity with modern front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.).
6. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, AWS, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Understanding of S.O.L.I.D design principles for creating maintainable and scalable applications.
2. Experience with the integration of AI/LLM solutions in corporate settings.
3. Knowledge of IIS web server configuration and deployment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
