Full Time Technical

Salary Range: $129,485.00 To $155,954.00 Annually

Job Description:

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Web Application Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support programs in Linthicum, Maryland.

In this role, you will contribute as a core engineer on a small team delivering enterprise web services deployed in AWS. You will take ownership of features end-to-end, contribute to design decisions, and help improve reliability and maintainability across multiple applications.

You will design and implement features across the API, user interface, and data layers, support services in production, and collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions iteratively within an Agile development environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement features across the API, user interface, and data layers with limited supervision.
  • Write clear technical approaches as needed.
  • Own services in production, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting incidents.
  • Drive root-cause fixes to improve system reliability.
  • Contribute to system architecture and technical direction, including tradeoffs, scalability, and security.
  • Participate actively in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and estimate work.
  • Deliver solutions iteratively within an Agile development environment.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
    • Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570.01 with a minimum IAM Level I certification, such as CAP, GSLC, or Security+.
  • Professional work experience with one or more of the following.
    • PHP
    • .NET/C#
    • Java
    • Node.js
    • Python
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • Vue.js
    • React
  • Experience deploying and operating software on Linux, including service configuration, logs, basic networking, and automation.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, authentication and authorization basics, and secure coding practices.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and practical performance fundamentals, including indexes and query tuning.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience managing a self-hosted ServiceNow instance, including performing required upgrades to core ServiceNow applications.
  • Experience reviewing processes and implementing efficiencies.
  • ServiceNow certifications, such as Administrator or Developer.
  • AWS experience.
