Job description

Bumble's Creative Studio is an exciting inflection point, supporting Bumble Inc.'s portfolio of apps globally. We're looking to hire a Graphic Designer to be a part of our small but mighty team, working on global projects and across time zones.
In this role within the Creative Studio, you'll help develop effective, exciting, and culturally relevant work for our portfolio of brands. You'll be part of a full-service, in-house, geographically diverse creative team of designers, art directors, copywriters, video editors, and producers who work hand-in-hand with external production and agency partners.
The person we are looking for is a vibrant Graphic Designer who brings both craft and fresh thinking to every project. With a growing command of design across print, digital, social and campaign work, they're detail-oriented and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Your work will span a wide variety of communications, from social and growth content to marketing and partnership campaigns, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your creativity and technical skills will play a crucial role in producing compelling designs.
This role is based in the US, reporting to the Design Lead in the UK.
Key Accountabilities
  • Designing across a broad range of communications for Bumble Inc.'s diverse brands, spanning social, growth, CRM, ASO, marketing, and partnership campaigns globally.
  • Developing creative concepts and translating them into visually compelling designs across print and digital media.
  • Collaborating closely with copywriters, motion designers and art directors to produce cohesive, engaging work across all brands.
  • Contributing creative ideas actively in brainstorming and concepting sessions to enhance overall design quality.
  • Presenting work to key stakeholders, clearly explaining the assignment and the rationale behind your design decisions.
  • Upholding and championing Bumble Inc.'s brand standards across all markets and touchpoints, ensuring consistency at every level.
  • Managing your own workload effectively, and flagging any resource or timeline considerations proactively.

  • A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in the tech sector
  • You are proficient in design applications (Adobe CC, Figma), using the latest design tools, and embracing the future & AI
  • You are positive and committed with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approach to complex problems
  • You have a keen cultural curiosity
  • You're comfortable working autonomously (delivering design) and in collaboration with others (discovering a solution)
  • You have great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple briefs and meeting tight deadlines effortlessly
  • You have excellent time management skills and great attention to detail, ensuring our work always communicates clearly and is delivered on time
  • You possess a strong understanding of design principles including typography, layout, and color theory
