  • Configuring, customizing, and integrating vendor-based platforms used for OAO, content management, identity verification, and digital onboarding.
  • Designing and supporting APIs and integrations with core banking systems, identity providers, CRM, analytics, and downstream platforms.
  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and reliability; leading troubleshooting and incident resolution across production environments.
  • Applying security, privacy, accessibility (WCAG), and compliance standards to public-facing and account-opening platforms.
  • Supporting platform upgrades, vendor releases, and feature launches with minimal disruption to member experiences.
  • Producing and maintaining technical documentation, integration diagrams, and operational runbooks.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers, while promoting engineering best practices and operational maturity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Ownership & Reliability
  • Own the end-to-end technical operation of Online Account Opening and public web platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and observability for mission critical member journeys.
  • Proactively identify and reduce operational risk through automation, documentation, and platform hardening.

  • Cloud-based hosting and deployment platforms (e.g., Vercel or similar edge/CDN platforms), including CI/CD and release management
  • API design and integration patterns, including RESTful services and secure consumption of backend systems
  • Vendor-based SaaS and digital experience platforms (DXPs) and working within vendor constraints and release cycles
  • Strong understanding of:
  • End-to-end digital architecture for public websites, including frontend, CMS, and backend integrations
  • Performance optimization techniques such as caching, CDN usage, and page rendering strategies (SSG / SSR)
  • Security and privacy considerations for public-facing applications (e.g., data protection, secure API integration)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot across multi-system digital journeys, including frontend, CMS, and downstream service dependencies
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments, collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams
