Job description

Position: Foreman / Crew Lead

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Manage and update work orders daily (status of job tasks, overall job progress)

· Manage and work with field team members to perform select retrofit measures such as airsealing & insulation of the building shell and installation of energy-efficient measures

· Management and maintenance of shop and truck inventories

· Maintain detailed client files

· Collaborate with other team members to a ensure quality install and client satisfaction

· Maintain strong ongoing communication with Field Manager, office staff, and clients

· Assist in educating clients about energy efficiency

Certificates, Licenses, and Background:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Construction experience required. Special consideration given to candidates with demonstrated experience in a field related to construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry

· Current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation

· Ability to drive commercial vehicles (e.g. work van, box truck)

· Clean record with ability to pass various background checks

Preferred Professional Skills:

· Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions

· A background in crew management or construction management is a strong plus

· A background in building science or weatherization is a strong plus

Working Conditions:

The work we do is performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. The work may involve climbing ladders, working in confined attics, crawl spaces, and basements, or working in homes of varying conditions. Employees must be able to work in these conditions in residential, multi-family, and commercial environments.
