Job description

Armed Security Officer - Temporary

Shift Includes: Mornings-Afternoons-Overnights - Full time and Part time

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general armed security duties to our clients.
  • Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
  • Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
  • Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
  • Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
  • This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
  • You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Armed Security Officer.
  • Must have a valid Armed License - G License
  • Must have their own weapon
  • Preferred prior law enforcement or military experience
  • Must have a clean driving records
