Our client is a regional firm that that has successfully combined tradition audit, accounting, tax compliance and planning with a robust wealth management practice, becoming the leading trusted adviser to businesses and high net worth clients for decades. They are seeking a professional with at least 4 years of business and personal income tax compliance and planning experience along with strong interpersonal skills and a client service mind set to join their growing practice.

What you will do:

  • Develop relationships with firm clients acting as their trusted adviser on all tax compliance, planning and wealth management issues.
  • Interview clients to develop a deep understanding of their overall tax and financial makeup, and goals and work with the Financial Planning Team to develop a comprehensive business, tax and wealth management strategy.
  • Lead business and personal income tax compliance, strategy and planning for clients.
  • Partner with the firm's wealth management team to develop and suggest wealth management strategies.
  • Lead and develop junior team members.
  • Lead communications with both clients, and federal (IRS), state and local tax officials.
  • Network and develop relationships to promote firm awareness and drive practice growth.
