The Tax Associate provides dedicated support to the tax preparation team and works closely with the wealth advisors to provide tax-centric documents and planning support to high-net-worth families. This position requires flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.

Day-to-Day as a Tax Associate

  • Work with a high-performing & growth-oriented team
  • Speak your mind, have your voice heard, innovate, and streamline existing processes
  • Grow yourself personally and professionally with the support of your team
  • Assist with preparing federal and multi-state individual and trust income tax returns.
  • Learn and effectively utilize tax preparation software to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance the quality of service to clients.
  • Review documents and tax returns for accuracy.
  • Perform tax technical research.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other team members to perform job functions.
  • Other various assigned projects associated with tax and wealth services.


What You Bring as a Tax Associate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of tax laws and concepts
  • Familiarity with Form 1040 and/or Form 1041
  • Strong technical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to take initiative to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written/verbal) and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and remain flexible as priorities change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
  • Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude


Job Type: Full-time, salaried non-exempt

Location: This position is based out of our office in Scottsdale. This is an in-office position.

Salary: $75,000, plus $20,000 annual bonus paid in quarterly increments
