Senior Wealth Advisor
Location: Southbury, CT (In-office)
Pay Range: See below for additional compensation details.
Type: Full-Time, In Person
Firm: Green Wealth Management Group, LLC
Reporting To: Founder
Development Track: For the right advisor, this role offers long-term growth potential, with the hiring firm open to discussing a future partnership track and equity opportunity over time.
Join Our Team at Green Wealth Management Group, LLC - Green Wealth Management Group, LLC is an independent wealth advisory firm dedicated to helping successful individuals, families, and business owners plan for their best financial future through comprehensive, tailored financial strategies, objective advice, and a highly collaborative team approach.
Position Overview - Green Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to serve as a financial advisor for an independent, planning-led wealth management practice. This role provides a proven platform for the FA to grow their client base, but also the opportunity to service an existing book of business at the firm; providing client stewardship, supporting strategic growth, deepening referral and center-of-influence relationships, and helping elevate the client experience across high-net-worth families, business owners, executives, and multi-generational relationships.
Depending on the candidate's background, this position may flex between a true partner-level advisor profile and a senior relationship management profile. The ideal candidate will bring credibility with sophisticated clients, strong planning and communication judgment, and the ability to either originate and grow business directly or meaningfully retain, expand, and strengthen existing client and professional partner relationships. This position is well suited for an experienced advisor who values collaboration, objective advice, customized planning, and a client-first approach rooted in dependability, follow-through, and regular communication.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You will provide senior advisory leadership, strengthen client and professional partner relationships, support practice growth, and enhance the delivery of comprehensive wealth management advice, including but not limited to:
Advisory Leadership & Team Collaboration
Contribute to practice-level priorities across advisory standards, client experience, planning process, service model execution, and long-term business planning
Partner with firm leadership and advisory colleagues to support strategic initiatives, client segmentation, role clarity, relationship coverage, and thoughtful practice management decisions
Establish clear expectations for fiduciary conduct, planning philosophy, communication standards, relationship management, and accountability across the advisory team
Collaborate with advisors, planners, insurance specialists, client service professionals, and operations team members to prepare for client meetings, clarify planning priorities, and ensure high-quality follow-through
Evaluate business performance, staffing needs, workflow challenges, advisor capacity, and service delivery improvements to support continued practice success
Model the professionalism, ownership mindset, relationship judgment, and client-first presence expected of a senior advisor and trusted relationship leader
Senior Client Stewardship & Relationship Management
Serve as a senior relationship leader for select high-net-worth client households, successful families, business owners, executives, and other complex client relationships
Lead sophisticated advisory conversations involving retirement income, investment strategy, tax awareness, estate planning, charitable giving, business succession, executive compensation, risk management, and legacy planning
Coordinate with clients' trusted advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and other professional partners, to help ensure planning recommendations are aligned, actionable, and well communicated
Lead relationship strategy for significant client households, including retention planning, expanded engagement, next-generation involvement, ongoing communication, and proactive service touchpoints
Advise on sensitive client situations, major transitions, advanced planning decisions, and relationship matters requiring senior judgment and discretion
Ensure the client experience reflects the firm's service standards, planning philosophy, fiduciary mindset, and commitment to thoughtful long-term advice
Business Development, Centers of Influence, & Practice Growth
Support business development strategy through referral relationships, prospect engagement, center-of-influence partnerships, community presence, professional networks, and growth initiatives
Lead high-value prospect conversations, proposal discussions, client introductions, referral meetings, and opportunities involving complex planning or significant assets
Cultivate relationships with attorneys, CPAs, business leaders, corporate executives, family offices, professional partners, and other centers of influence
Identify opportunities to expand firm relationships through new assets, additional services, broader household engagement, enterprise relationships, or multi-generational client needs
Maintain accountability for relationship growth, referral activity, client retention, pipeline follow-through, and expanded engagement in partnership with firm leadership
Strengthen the firm's market position by representing its wealth management approach with credibility, professionalism, and a clear value proposition
