YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a hard-working, organized and client-friendly individual with strong communication skills who will be able to utilize expertise in private markets to drive conversations and cultivate relationships with the firm's largest family offices, while also expanding on firmwide partnerships with Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and other divisions. The individual will help to source and champion differentiated investment opportunities across asset classes and deal structures, with an emphasis on private and growth equity, venture capital, structured credit and real estate.

The team leverages an extensive cross-divisional network to deliver unique investment opportunities, the best intellectual capital, private market expertise and differentiated deal flow sourced from across GS and a deep network of partners. Given Goldman Sach's premier Global Investment Banking franchise and leading alternatives platform, the team sits at the heart of significant efforts aimed at bringing some of the most differentiated solutions to this growing and sophisticated investor base.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Cultivate deep relationships with the firm's largest family offices, developing trusted partnerships and delivering the breadth of Goldman Sachs' capabilities; direct client and PWA coverage responsibilities on an on-going basis
  • Develop connectivity within the Firm to source and provide access to differentiated and bespoke private equity, fixed income and alternative investment products to clients
  • Act as a central point of coordination across Investment Banking, Asset Management, Alternatives and Private Wealth Management to deliver holistic, client-centric solutions
  • Communicate investment opportunities with sales teams and directly to Apex clients
  • Work closely on business development initiatives including managing client-related events, spearheading product development, improving sourcing channels, and creating scalable solutions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Demonstrated orientation toward and interest in understanding financial markets with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience; preferably related to investment banking, private or growth equity, structured credit, or illiquid public
  • Demonstrated history of commercial prowess and success
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to excel in an unstructured, entrepreneurial, business building mode of a new business
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63 preferred (within 3 months)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $115000-$270000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
